SkyBlock is the most recent wildly popular Minecraft Survival Island map, a small block of dirt floating in the sky for all eternity. There are no secret chambers to explore, no mysteries to solve. Just some dirt, a tree and a chest. (There are a few more goodies to work with, but we’ll get to them in a bit.) It’s not the sort of map you might have expected to have garnered over a hundred thousand downloads, but let’s face it, logic doesn’t always apply to Minecraft and I can honestly say that this incredibly simple map is one of the most fun maps I’ve ever played, and it has surprising replay value as well.
